Lexicon har sedan 2011 gett stöd till elever på Jofi Modern School i Gambia. Vi fortsätter även denna jul att ge ett helhetsbidrag för 2024 som täcker mat, lärare, utbildningsmaterial, lokaler och allt annat som barnen behöver för att få en god utbildning och kunna fortsätta utvecklas med nya kunskaper.

Lexicon är skolans största sponsor med 60 fadderbarn, övriga 140 barn sponsras av främst privatpersoner men även andra företag. För en familj (oftast ensamstående mammor) i det lokala området vid skolan är det ett stort fokus på att få sina barn sponsrade så att de kan gå i skolan.

Mr Bah, rektor på Jofi:
– Lars and Lexicon is one of our main sponsors. Through him, his company have sponsored 60 children to go to school since 2011, he also helped to build the new Jofi Modern school in 2016-17. Last year Lars spent 3 months in the Gambia and during his visit purchased 9 chrome books for the children which are such a useful learning aid. This year too he came with 3 senior staff from Lexicon to the Gambia and they had an amazing time with teachers and the children of the school. Lars and Lexicon, the school AWARD YOU A GOLDEN HEART for caring about our children and sustaining Jofi Modern school through the beginning of each month.
